MY FAMILY'S YESTERYEARS 11-28-17

Image
This is a very old picture of my father, my brothers and sisters and my 2 cousins, Patrick and Jeffrey, in an earlier day of our yesteryears. I can still remember my father reading the Herald Newspaper at the breakfast table. It was in a different time in our lives and in the world. Our lives and the world were vastly different. We had our hopes and dreams. Though my hopes and dreams are in a another place , I still have hope and dreams! Love, prayers and hope,                         Evelyn (Pinto)                        November 28, 2017

Sickness plagues my body. Because of all these illnesses in my body, my emotions are all over the place. My life is an unpredictable and as unstable as my physical and emotional states. I also live in a time in which the world has taken upon a new craziness. In the midst of sickness, adversity, pain and craziness, I put together a “Gratitude Jar”! I put in this jar many papers of blessings. Yes, God has blessed me and He’s blessed me abundantly! I have so much to be grateful for. I have been blessed by having a family who loves me and whom are there for me. I am especially indebted to my mother who still helps me out in so many ways. I am so appreciative to have loving friends who are loyal and sup

I, ME, EVELYN, AS THE QUEEN OF HEARTS 10-31-17

I attended a Halloween party, on Halloween afternoon, in the building in which I live at. There was a DJ, music, dancing, food, beverages and candy. And yes, there were fabulous Halloween costumes and prizes for the best costumes. Guess what? I, me, Evelyn won 1st prize, dressed up as the Queen of Hearts! And  there were 2 Queens, myself and my elegant friend, Joan. Me, a Queen? Really! Did anyone doubt that? It was a fun time for all! A very tired Evelyn, not afraid of goblins or monsters, slipped into bed early on Halloween night.
