ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

I would like to talk to you about 4 individuals in my life, who are not only my friends but, sacrifice in many ways for others, including me. The occupations of these 4 amazing people are ministers and chaplains. These 4 people go out to the broken sick and dying. Many would run from situations that these people graciously glide into. These people are instruments of healing. They give of their time and their life to those many who are broken, tired and in need. I’m one of those who is a recipient of their love, kindness and that peace of mind that that I found in myself through these servants of God. I thank my Lord many times over for placing these remarkable people in my life.  Yes, it is God that radiantly shines through these 4 individuals! When you give your problem(s), a situation, and even your life to God, it’s utterly amazing what can happen! I wanted to find a way to thank all the wonderful people in my Life for all they have given me. It's my birthday soon so, I needed it to be a joyous occasion to say "thank you” to all the wonderful, loving and supportive people who mean so much to me.. So, my dear friends, I gave a party to emphatically say to everyone “Thank You!” Paintings, posters and pictures, all dressed in a gratitude theme, decorated the room at the assisted living, where I live.            IN THE ARMS OF GOD                                    by Evelyn Pinto Sometimes God leaves me on a path. I may not know where. It may not be where I want to go but, I trust God, knowing that He will always take care of me. This does not mean I'm going to just sit back and be a victim of circumstance. No, certainly not! God made me the person I am. As this person, I am still his "Work In Progress!" I trust God and will always ask my Lord's guidance, protection and safety. I will ask Him for these and everything in prayer. You know something? In this tilt-a-whirl of life, I know I'll be ok. I know this because I am in the Arms of God! Wherever I go from here, home or somewhere else, I know that' it's where God needs me to be. Sometimes God leaves me on a path. I may not know where. It may not be where I want to go but, I trust God. I know that God will always take care of me. It was on an early Sunday night when my niece, Anita and my nephew, Brandon took me to see my mother at her home. It was a night of fun, laughs, card playing with the sweetest touch of all, when we all my feasted on my mother’s homemade chicken soup. My mother has a breathtaking view from her apartment’s patio. Though it was a cloudy Sunday night, it was nice to see this magnificent view from high up! My mother is the most loving person. My niece, Anita, impresses and inspires me as she walks steadfast in the Christian faith. My nephew, Brandon, is a loving teenager. I do realize how difficult it is to be a teenager (or a mother of a teen) in this time. Brandon, though, impresses me on how helpful he is and how much he cares for others. One thing though, my mother did beat Brandon under the table, playing cards!                                                                                        Evelyn Pinto
