ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

I'm so grateful to be alive and have as good quality of life, which I do. People may not think I’m in a great space but, I am! I love God, life, and people! I have much love in my life. I'm so grateful for being blessed with so much love! I'm in the hospital a lot because of my COPD, asthma, congestive heart failure, etc.. So you can see how grateful I am to be alive! The doctors, nurses and all the people in the hospital that I go for my medical care are kind, compassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable of my medical conditions. I don't like being sick but, I'm grateful that I can go into the hospital and get care from so many amazing people. I'm grateful to these hard working (inpatient and outpatient) hospital staff! I'm blessed to have a loving and supportive family! I'm so blessed to have my apartment in this assisted living, with people who care about me. Easter was very special for me this year! Just the thought, that someone suffered and died for me, was more than I can fathom. My 1st thought, when I awoke this morning,  was to thank Jesus for His ultimate sacrifice. I had coffee with Pat, a dear friend early Easter morning. Then off we both went to church! After a great time with close friends, Maureen and Eleanor, I went to my family's Easter event! When my family gets together, it's a celebration with good food and great company! It was an awesome time,! It was a great time, but, now, I'm totally exhausted and ready for bed!' Thank you, Jesus, for everything you've done for me and continue to do ! I'm home from the hospital. I was discharged late, yesterday afternoon. I'm still very, very weak, fatigued and totally exhausted, totally! It looks like I'm forced to slow down, no choice in the matter. It’s funny how your mind is revved up to go, go, go. But, your body stops, flops on whatever is there, whether couch, chair or bed. zzzzzz, you just want to sleep! In the early morning of March 22, 2016, I was looking out the huge hallway window in the hospital.. I'm still a patient in the hospital, being treated for pneumonia. Instead of seeing the night sky, with all its' lights and wonder, I saw me, my wheelchair, my handbag and me on my cell taking the pictures.  With a little photo editing, all of you can see what I saw. It's snowing and the humidity outside is high. This change in weather greatly affects me, respiratory wise. I have pneumonia, still, and I'm super, super congested! I'm still in the hospital, with hopes of being discharged today. My head is completely stuffed up. I have intense pain, especially in my left air. I am still in the hospital. I, though, am going to be discharged today. This morning, it snowed. My friends, I don't have a decent view of anything but, the snow. I did get pictures of the snow. My medical team and I are planning for a Monday 9-21-16) discharge from the hospital. I have a viral pneumonia. It began with the stomach virus that traveled through the building in which I live (and everywhere else) and went to my lungs. Due to my COPD and asthma, my body is more vulnerable to respiratory diseases than most people. Thus, I got pneumonia (again)! I'm so weak, very fatigued and totally exhausted, totally! It will take time before I'm "me" again! I do have strong faith in God and that there is a reason (maybe reasons) for everything. If this is a step on the journey of my life, I'm going to maintain love, positivity and a strong will, among other strengths that God has equipped me with. I'm not perfect and do have my down times, so I pray. I pray for others and then for myself for the strength to get over this pneumonia - quickly! I never did get that patience thing!
