ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

It is 1am, a new year and it is so quiet, here in the hospital! I look outside my hospital room window into the darkness outside. Through the darkness, there are many lights, lights flickering from buildings, bridges and other light giving objects. So, through the darkness, and in my own darkness, light shines through.          HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE,                 EVERYONE!!!! I am in the hospital for New Year's Eve and for New Year's Day.      HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! My family and friends, I am okay! I'm not where I want to be but, I am going to make this night a good night! New year's, for me,  even if I am a patient in the hospital,on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, it's going to be a great beginning for 2016. I realize that it's not where I am at physically, socially, emotionally or anywhere, it what I do with where I'm at! My faith in God and my belief of the promise(s) of Jesus keeps me calm, together, content and joyful wherever I am at. Jesus promised that He would never leave me! I'm not alone because Jesus, like always, kept His promise! So you see, my family and friends, I am okay! Though I am okay, I would love phone calls and visits to the hospital. I am inpatient in the hospital I go for my medical care. I am in constant, intense pain! I had another MRI Sunday, as an outpatient. The MRI showed a loose disc in my back pressing against a nerve. This (sciatica) has been causing me increasing pain and weakness in my back, pelvic area, and right leg. I am going to have 2 procedures, while in the hospital. I will be having a cortisone injection in my knee (degenerative arthritis) and an epidural injection to relieve the pain in my back and right leg. Though no snow on this Christmas, I did not complain! I walked outside and sat on the bench, at the building where I live. I even ate my bag supper outside. The birds were my dinner guests!  Other uninvited animals joined in on my festive meal of a sandwich, cranberry juice and chips! (My big meal was at lunch). With the weather cooperative and warm, I totally enjoyed my dinner and time with my dinner guests of Nature. It was a Christmas meal to remember! Happy, Joyful, Merry Christmas Everyone! It was a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas! First of all, it was about Jesus! However the next 2 days would enfold,  yesterday I surrendered these 2 special days to God. These 2 days could not have been better. Yesterday morning was My Mother and Me Alone Time. My mom shred lunch, mother and daughter talks, Christmas movies and old tv shows. It was such a nice time.  It wasn't rushed, just alone time between my mother and myself!  I will always cherish this time with mom! Whenever I start to  get in this mode of feeling that it doesn't feel like Christmas, I stop myself! Then I realize what I always did know:  It's not about me, it all about Jesus! Sure, it's warm outside and not at all like a New England weather. Sure I've had, like most of the people I know, a very difficult and traumatic year. Sure, I could not do for others, what i wish I could have done. Sure, I'm struggling in many ways. As,I previously said, it's not about me It's about Jesus!! Happy Birthday Jesus! How many people would like a present bought with stolen money? I presume, not many of you! Money was stolen out of my wallet. It wasn't a lot of money but, it was a lot to me. First, if anybody needed money or anything and if I had it, I would give to them. 2nd, people do not have to  violate me by going into my wallet, the zippered part of my wallet. I do not have a lot of money, hardly any, and I have to, a lot of time, depend on my family and others for necessities. If you, or anyone feels that have to steal from me, or anyone, there are other options than feeling you have to steal. Try exploring other options, other than stealing. Dear Family And Friends!  It's strange with Christmas  and with many holidays, the day becomes more important than what it stands for.  This is true, even at Christmas. It's not about presents, or  malls, or shopping or even family (though I would love it to be about family).  Christmas is all about Jesus!  It is in The Gospel: For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that forever believed in Him will not perish but, will have everlasting life.  Yes, Christmas is all about Jesus!  Christmas is My Savior, Jesus being born and still living today!    Peace and love to all! Good Evening! For most of this week, I have been experiencing painful  in my joints and muscles and I have been extremely tired and fatigued. I've been finding it difficult to keep awake for any substantial amount of time. When I've been awake, I feel pain all over my body with severe, severe headaches. Yes, my friends, I have a very aggressive virus. I was at the Emergency Room and from there, I went to see my primary care doctor, who are both at the hospital I go for my medical care, today, where I was diagnosed.. I'm recovering at home now. As you probably remember, the last virus I suffered from, got progressively worse. It became a serious pneumonia, in which I was hospitalized for 8 days and nights. Please pray, this virus, that is now attacking my body, does not take the same course as the former. My family had a Christmas Party-Reunion yesterday (12-13-15)! My family really knows how to celebrate! It was so nice to see, be with and talk to members of my family whom I have not seen in awhile! Thank you to my aunts, Helen, Peggy and Rosemarie for working so hard to make this family event a reality! The Mayor of Somerville, Mass., came to the building in which I live and sang Christmas carols for all of us!  Who also sang with the mayor, was renowned singer,Jimmy Duponte and the Mayor's singers. Jimmy Duponte made possible and supervises the Sunsetters, a group of young singers and performers. It was a wondrous time, in which we all sang and danced to songs like Jingle Bells, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Let It Snow.. Thank you Mayor Curtatone, Jimmy Duponte, Moonlighters and everyone here, who attended this Christmas lunch!
