Dear Friends, First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and your kind words of support! I know those many, many prayers reached Heaven! I also know that God was touched by all of you, who took the time to pray for me. I, myself, was touched by all those prayers coming through on my Facebook page and on other forms of social media! I was totally amazed over those hundreds of prayers, especially by those wonderful souls who had never met me! Thank you, my friends, thank you! I’m touched, grateful and I’m blessed by every one of you! The good news now is that I do “not” need Hip Replacement Surgery! HOORAY! The pain was in my hip was caused by a torn tendon. The surgeon’s recommendations was a month of Physical Therapy to improve motion in that area and relieve pain. The other great news, after another Mammogram and Ultrasound was that I just needed to follow up in 3-5 months with another Mammogram and another Ultrasound. The doctor ass...

BATTLING NEW HEALTH CHALLENGES 1-11-2020

Dear Friends, I am experiencing new health challenges. This is addition to the several health battles I’m fighting, and have been battling for some time. My friends, I am going for a MRI of my left hip this coming Monday. My doctors seem to think that I need a hip replacement. (At times, the pain in my left leg (hip) feels totally unbearable)! The MRI will give a definite whether I need a hip replacement or not. Long term use of Prednisone is the past, is a huge factor causing this hip problem. I did have had other tests on my left hip that suggested an MRI be done. I had a Mammogram last week. I am being called back for more imaging, and more in depths tests and procedures, concerning last week’s Mammogram. I think this is enough for a while! Please keep me in your prayers. I promise to keep you updated on the results of my tests and on these new emerging health problems. Love, a frazzled and faithful,       ...

"I'M HOME!" 1-4-2020

“I’m Home!” I’ve been discharged from the hospital. Though fatigued, weak and fragile, I’ve decided to take my broken body and go home. I am now continuing my recovery from this infection that required antibiotics, at home, where I am more comfortable I know I can recover quicker among the familiar, whether it be my own apartment, among my own stuff, or the smiling faces of my friends, who greeted me warmly and with genuine affection on my return. Yes, my friends, it’s wonderful to be “Home”! Thank you, all of you, for prayers, well wishes and words of support! I am grateful for, not only all of your words of support but, also, for every one of you who prayed for me! Thank you! With sincerity, love and gracious gratitude,      Evelyn Pinto      January 4, 2020
