ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

I'm content and I am comfortable.  I have more than enough to e I have a nice place to live. I have a nice place to live. I have more than enough to eat. My basic needs are met! I have friends, family and lots of love in my life! I have a hospital with doctors, nurses and people to help me in those acute health situations I experience and even in those situations that aren't acute. God has blessed me and has blessed me in abundance. I'm not saying my life is perfect. No, it is not perfect, not even close. I just look at Life from this perspective. I may not get all I want but, I have everything I need. The sun may or may not come out today, this 1st day of Spring. I have something better though. Peace. Dear Friends and Family, Thank you your prayers, concern for me, your kind words and your love! I appreciate every kind word and every prayer. I love all of you! I am home now! I was discharged last night. The great news is that all the tests were negative. The doctors and I agreed that I fainted due to chronic, severe fatigue and exhaustion. Much of this is due to the effects of my several serious medical conditions. Some of it is due to my boundless projects and my non-stop life. I was frightened because I was sleeping all the time, which is so unlike me. This, I surmise, was a sign. I am relieved that my heart is functioning okay. Thank you, my dear family and wonderful friends! I praise, honor and give thanks to my God for being with me, comforting me and getting me through this frightening ordeal. Yesterday I passed out at dinner in the dining room, where I live. I had not been feeling well for some time. I was immediately rushed to the Emergency Department of the hospital, where I go for my medical care. The doctors did the first necessary tests, while I was still in E.D. Last night, I was also admitted to a medical unit at the hospital. A Nuclear Stress Test was ordered for this morning. My friends, I was at this test from 11:30am until 4pm, when I was returned to my hospital room. It’s been a long and tiring day, my dear friends. Tomorrow, my attending physician in the hospital will discuss the Nuclear Stress Test results with me. My thyroid gland will also be checked tomorrow! It’s been one lengthy and exhausting journey for me!       The doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, chaplains, technicians and all of the hospital staff have been superb and amazing, doing their jobs with excellence and compassion! MEDICINE: "An Educated Guess". The more specialized the doctor is, the more educated the guess is! The patient is in trouble when the doctor is under the delusion that he knows everything about the problem(s) causing the patient’s illness. The patient enters disaster mode when the doctor is convinced that he knows more about the patient, than the patient does about himself or herself!.. Don't Walk - "Run" away from a doctor who knows "everything"! That's a dangerous person who thinks he/she is God! This person has to be immediately reminded that the position of God has already been filled! This doctor is delusional, narcissistic or dwells in a weird psychosis. In other words, he has problems! Coming into medicine with medical issues, we certainly do not need the doctor's problems. Oh we, patients when dealing with many doctors, we need more than medicine, we need “prayers”! Last night, January 23, 2019, I, with a small group from Maplewood Baptist Church, traveled to Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Tewksbury Mass. for a night of dinner and fellowship. The food was appealing, delightful and delicious! My steak was mouthwatering and grilled in exactly the manner I asked for and desired. We all enjoyed our meals that were cooked to order. The prices of our meal orders were reasonable and these meals were also cooked with care and love. We talked, we ate and we enjoyed our pleasingly and delightfully cooked meal by the chefs of Cracker barrel Restaurant. Our server, Mary, worked without stopping wearing a lovely smile and dressed in a pleasing manner. Mary was attentive to every need of myself and everyone in our church group.
