ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

                                                             An Answer to a Prayer My prayers were answered when my Aunt Evelyn came to town this week. God went even further, when my Aunt Evelyn and I spent time with each other, alone last night. It was like time and distance no longer had control of us! My Aunt Evelyn and I talked like we used to, many, many years ago. In those days, we were both younger and our lives were much, much different! For that brief period, with my Aunt Evelyn, there was no sickness in me, no wheelchair, and no pain! Nothing held us back! Our souls met! Our hearts joined together! My Aunt Evelyn and I had captured a closeness that we had held many, many years ago! It was a time to reaffirm what we always knew! God does work in mysterious ways! I've been having health issues lately. Yesterday was a, health wise, difficult day. I felt sick! My heart rate rose to 122. My oxygen saturation was low. My body was very swollen, all over! In addition to all of this, I've been in intense, severe pain! I was not having a good time of it! I stayed most of the day in my apt, mostly alone. Then I get a call from my sister, Roberta! My Aunt Evelyn, whom I'm named after, is in town! It was the nicest, sweetest conversation with my Aunt Evelyn yesterday! My sister, Roberta will bring my Aunt Evelyn to see me this weekend! My health issues may not have changed. Today, I am going to have a scheduled pulmonary function test as well as seeing the doctor who is covering for my doctor. (My primary care physician is on vacation this week). Accomplished writer and good friend, Oscar Green is also a brilliant public speaker. I witnessed firsthand yesterday (2-15-16), as I listened to Oscar! I was one of many in the audience, who were also, like Oscar and I, residents of the building in which we all live. Oscar kept me captivated, reading published stories, many in which he had written and published in many  renowned places.   Many of Oscar's books and stories are published in The Boston Globe, Reader's Digest and Guideposts. "This is the day that The Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad!" Though it is cold and will be snowing soon, this day, and my entire life, this morning, I surrender to God! I give all my control, my emotions, my health my and my problems I will encounter today to the One who created me. In this difficult life I have of pain, respiratory issues and other serious concerns, I still will be joyful! I, to give all glory to God, will spread this joy to everyone I encounter today. Happy, Happy, Special Day of Love! I realize we should love, as 1st God loved us, everyone, every day. Today, on this day I want to tell my family and friends I love them! My life is better, with each of you in it! You all mean so much to me and my life would not be the same, if you were not in it!
