RESPIRATORY ILLNESS; WHAT IT FEELS LIKE 1-5-16

Image
Sometimes,  I feel that, I have to wrap a towel around my front, so my insides don't come out of me..                         Evelyn Pinto                         January 5, 2016

I'M HOME, DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL 1-4-16

Image
I'm Home! I was discharged from the hospital today  (Monday). The staff of the medical hospital I was at, were kind, compassionate, knowledgeable of my medical conditions, showed  medical expertise and were patient with me. The care at the hospital I was at was at a level of superior excellence. I'm so glad to be home, though, among familiar people and stuff! I'm so happy to be with my friends and near enough so I can spend time together with family and other friends. My dear friend , Pat said to me tonight, "Evie, there's no place like home!" Home, with those I love and whom love me, is definitely where I belong and need to be! "Yes, Pat, there is no place like HOME!"                                    Evelyn  Pinto                                   January 4, 2015

GOD'S PRESENCE IN THIS MORNING'S SUNRISE 1-3-16

Image
The sunrise was spectacular this morning. The sunrise always gives me hope! I am still in the hospital. I'm fighting! I'm fighting the pain I feel. I'm fighting to breathe at a functional level. I'm fighting to stay awake. I'm fighting  and  will never  give up!  I will persevere! God presented me with a glorious sunset, from my hospital room window,  this morning! Praise Be To God!                                Evelyn Pinto                               January 3, 2016                         All pictures were taken                                by Evelyn Pinto                ...

AS I LOOK OUT MY HOSPITAL ROOM WINDOW 1-2-16

Image
In my hospital bed, in my hospital room, I look out the window a lot. I am on the 7th floor of this medical unit of the hospital. With some editing, this is how I saw the outside world! love and prayers,                  Evelyn Pinto,                 January 2, 2016 All pictures taken, and edited, by Evelyn Pinto

I PRAY, AS I GAZE, THROUGH MY HOSPITAL ROOM WINDOW,, INTO THE HEAVENS 1-1-16

Image
When I can't look in or out, I look up! I am on laying in a hospital bed, in a hospital on the 7th floor. I have a herniated disc wrapped around a nerve in my back. My lungs and my breathing are getting to be a larger problem than was realized I do have a great view outside of, buildings, the Charles River and (what I love to look at) the sky. It seems when I look into the sky, I'm gazing into the heavens. Then I pray. I pray for my own health to be better. I pray for my friends and family. I pray for this hospital, its' personnel and the patients. I pray for my church and its' pastor. I pray for this crazy world to be a better one! Then I gaze out the window, into the heavens, pray again and fall asleep. I've been really, really tired! Love and prayers,                                Evelyn Pinto, ...

1AM, A NEW YEAR, IN THE HOSPITAL 1-1-16

Image
It is 1am, a new year and it is so quiet, here in the hospital! I look outside my hospital room window into the darkness outside. Through the darkness, there are many lights, lights flickering from buildings, bridges and other light giving objects. So, through the darkness, and in my own darkness, light shines through. Sending, love, hope, dreams, and joy in 2016,                                      Evelyn Pinto                                      January 1, 2016                                      1am

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE 12-31-15

Image
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE,                 EVERYONE!!!! I am in the hospital for New Year's Eve and for New Year's Day.      HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE! My family and friends, I am okay! I'm not where I want to be but, I am going to make this night a good night! New year's, for me,  even if I am a patient in the hospital,on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, it's going to be a great beginning for 2016. I realize that it's not where I am at physically, socially, emotionally or anywhere, it what I do with where I'm at! My faith in God and my belief of the promise(s) of Jesus keeps me calm, together, content and joyful wherever I am at. Jesus promised that He would never leave me! I'm not alone because Jesus, like always, kept His promise! So you see, my family and friends, I am okay! Though I am okay, I would love phone calls and visits to the hospital. I would love to see you! Love, great n...
