ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

Easter: A Lifelong Relationship with God The Day of Easter is over but, not what it stands for. What Easter signifies is a lifelong relationship with Our Heavenly Father made possible through the body and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. Easter is made anew every second, every minute, every hour, and every day. All I have to do is believe. Once I believe and truly accept Jesus, my life changes. As I change, my life begins to fall into place. I find comfort in a total dependence on God. Faith comes with a security that, with God, a supernatural peace is in me. There’s a God-given security that, whatever happens, good or bad, I will be okay. This doesn’t mean my life will be easy and it certainly does not mean bad things will not happen. Life will happen, with some bad stuff. Living with Christ, a calmness is in me. I’m safe, surrendered and peaceful, sheltered in the mighty Hands of God! No, my friends, Easter is not over. Easter is lifelong! Oh, Wha...

As a person living with disabilities, I notice that some people think others, should not be a part of society. People disrespecting those, who live with disabilities, happens much too often for me. I'm grateful to the many people, including those who live with disabilities, who persevere and fight so people who cannot speak up for themselves are treated fairly. Those who live with disabilities should have the same rights as everyone else. The world should also be accessible to everyone, especially those who have mobility problems. We all make up this world, not just a certain group of people, living in society. We all should have the basic human rights. Sadly, we have a long way to go until discrimination will no longer have a place in society and in the world. I'm going to fight until either discrimination is gone or until I can no longer fight.                    ...

I come to Jesus, just as I am. I come to Jesus with my broken body and broken heart. I come to Jesus, humbly, hurting and in need of A Savior. I come to Jesus today, ready, and willing to surrender my life,to Him, who made me. I come to Jesus with praise, worship and thanksgiving. It's Snowing! God gave me today, with snow and everything! It 's a miraculous day, with falling snowflakes and magical wonder! I chose to participate in this God given miracle! With coat, hat and scarf  snuggled on, I went out into the snow! Snowflakes made their landings on me. It was if, I felt the touch of God with every snowflake. The heavens showered their perfect magic, as the snow became thicker and the snowflakes became more numerous. This morning was a present from God, that I got to unwrap! God Is Good All The Time! I'm so grateful to be alive and have as good quality of life, which I do. People may not think I’m in a great space but, I am! I love God, life, and people! I have much love in my life. I'm so grateful for being blessed with so much love! I'm in the hospital a lot because of my COPD, asthma, congestive heart failure, etc.. So you can see how grateful I am to be alive! The doctors, nurses and all the people in the hospital that I go for my medical care are kind, compassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable of my medical conditions. I don't like being sick but, I'm grateful that I can go into the hospital and get care from so many amazing people. I'm grateful to these hard working (inpatient and outpatient) hospital staff! I'm blessed to have a loving and supportive family! I'm so blessed to have my apartment in this assisted living, with people who care about me.
