A BIRTHDAY IN THE HOSPITAL 10-26-2022
Dear Friends and Family, it’s Wednesday, October 26th and it is my Birthday.
I am an inpatient
in the hospital that I go for my medical care and I am frightened.
My friends,
I have been having breathing difficulties for some time.
The days
previous to this hospital were troubling with difficulties breathing, chest tightness
that was severely painful, excessive sweating and complete, severe fatigue.
Monday’s
symptoms frightened me beyond limits.
My tee shirt
and pajama bottoms were drenched in sweat.
Suffering
with severe and painful tightness in my chest, I was struggling to breathe.
I wanted to
avoid the hospital at all costs but, I was too scared not to go.
I, by
ambulance, was quickly and safely escorted to the hospital I go for my medical
care.
My blood
pressure was super high and I normally do not have high blood pressure.
My oxygen
saturations were very low as well.
One of the
problems told to me by the doctors was I have been having a COPD exacerbation.
Other
symptomology is being closely looked at and tested.
As I have
said it is my Birthday today!
With troubling
difficulties breathing, painful tightness in my chest, constant fatigue and other
worrisome symptoms, it’s going to be a wonderful day, despite all these goings
ons!
Today, on my
Birthday, I am going to celebrate Life!
I thank God
for my Friends, my Family, my Church Family, the Family where I reside, my Hospital Family and all those people who
have impacted my life in large and small
ways!
I thank God
and praise God for Life!
Thank you,
all of you, for your support, your prayers, your love, your compassion and your
generosity, your time and your sacrifices!
I am
grateful and blessed by all of you!
As I walk
along the path of my Life, I tightly clutch the Hands of Jesus.
I am
strengthen in my own weakness as Jesus helps me, holds me and guides me through
this navigation of a turn in my life on my journey.
Though I am
sick, in pain, weak, fatigued, I am suffering with other serious problems that
make the basics of breathing much more difficult.
I have a
Peace, a Gog given peace that guides me, comforts me and loves me.
I’m okay
because God’s got me, and holds me.
As I am
wrapped in God’s Mighty Arms, I am safe, secure and loved!
Please, my
friends and family, please Celebrate Life with me.
Love,
prayers and a zillion hugs,
Evelyn Pinto
