ME-as I go through this zany, marvelous, difficult experience called: "LIFE"!

 Evelyn's Birthday Episode Continues...            Evelyn’s 2 Day Birthday Yesterday was my Birthday! Yesterday, my friend, Joan, my mother and my sister, Roseanna visited me, where I live. My sister, Roberta, planned to visit me yesterday but, got held up, until today. So, my friends, my birthday continues… This morning, I spent priceless time with my 2 close friends, Joan and Maureen. It was an awesome time as we caught up with the lives of each other, over coffee! Friends, especially friends like Joan and Maureen, are essential to our own wellbeing as well as keeping us on an even keel. This afternoon (the day after my birthday) was family time! Precious time was spent with my mother, my 2 sisters, (Roseanna and Roberta), my niece, Telia and Bruce (Roseanna’s fiancé). This was a marvelous time spent with my family! It’s my Birthday today! Yeah! It has been a magnificent day! I am accessorized in Birthday gifts from the earrings and necklace that Amanda gave me to the red sweater that Tia bequeathed me. My sister, Roseanna, and my mother arrived here, at the building in which I live, late this morning. We enjoyed lunch and many cups of conversation! My sister, Roseanna, created a gift for me like no other. Her gift, which I totally love, is a cake made of flowers. This cake of flowers is just ecstatically spectacular! My sister, Roberta, could not come to my family gathering as planned. Roberta is coming tomorrow.       An October Birthday Gathering Two close friends of mine, Siroon and Donna, have birthdays in October. Coincidentally, my birthday is also in October. Today, October 10 th , 2019, we had an October Birthday Gathering for us, in my apartment, to celebrate our birthdays Our mutual friend, Johanne was also in attendance at our Birthday Gathering because it wouldn’t be a party without Johanne! I set up birthday plates, birthday napkins and birthday candles, including a wide assortment of birthday decorations. There were gifts for my friends and, yes, there were even Birthday Hats for the 3 of us! We talked, we ate cookies and muffins, (muffins that were decorated with long, starry candles), we had Klondike ice cream sandwiches and yes, we had our wine, Red wine to be exact.        Meeting God In The  Exam Room,                At The Hospital I wrote this entry in the early morning of May 29, 2013. I edited this script today, October 7, 2019 These were the feelings that I experienced on that traumatic day in May.                               Life: I was at the hospital yesterday. I needed to go in for a routine test, which turned out to be anything but, routine. A nodule was discovered in the 1 st  test. Several other tests followed. I began feeling apprehensive when I saw patients leave, the patients whom had taken that same test after me. I was asked to take a more in depth test, a biopsy. The biopsy was done by a physician almost immediately. I waited for that doctor and the results of the biopsy in what seemed like forever! I wanted to pray but, the only prayers that stutte...

          As I was sitting outside one fall evening, I captured the sunset. It was a glorious sight to behold. My dear friends, this sunset was magical! I did not vote for Trump in the 2016 Presidential election. I was willing to give him a chance. I have questions though. How can Trump disagree with the countless scientists about Global Warming? How can Trump do nothing but harm when Climate Change is rapidly destroying the Earth, our Home? I can understand the need for Immigration Reform. I totally agree with the urgent necessity for the lowing of medicines, especially lifesaving medications and treatments. I emphatically understand that drastic changes need to be made to the Healthcare System. Trump interest is, and never was, any of these vitally important issues but, in The Wall, the Wall he promised Mexico would pay for. Another lie of Trump’s creation as American taxpayers are paying for this Wall. I loathe it when Trump’s lies, cheats people and I immensely detest his childlike habits of taking credit (even if it’s undeserved) when things go right and blaming others (even if he caused the problems) wh...

I In the dusk of the evening, my friends and I were sitting on a bench, outside of the building, where we live. We were enjoying the warm weather, as well as each other’s company. And alas, a “Monarch Butterfly” approached, flying very close and landing on the pot of flowers just a few steps away. My friends, seeing this beautiful creature was ecstatically wonderful!
