I had a wonderful 60th Birthday Party yesterday!
Thank you to my dear friends who brought cake, and other food that made my birthday awesome!
Thank you to my dear friends, including Pat Haynes, her daughter, Diane,  Janet Travers, Joan Mckewen, Maureen, my mother and to all my guests.
The presence of all of you, who attended brought me great joy!

Helping People, Helping Me I understand Healthcare is in a fragile state of indefinite now.  I do comprehend the stress healthcare professionals can be experiencing.  Understand this: I live with chronic illnesses (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma, Pulmonary Hypertension, Congestive Heart Disease, Osteoporosis, Chronic Debilitating Pain) and more.  When I come for help it's because I do need help . As a person I need what you already have which is to treat me which means to: Dignity  Respect  Honesty Integrity I am a person first! I do need help "Yes"!   My name is Evelyn This is my Story! This is my Truth! I had the grave misfortune of needing emergency care and eventually being hospitalized for a life-threatening bacterial infection! I also had Sepsis! This bacterial infection had been relentlessly and viciously attacking my body. Upon arriving to the Emergency Room, I was placed onto a gurney with high fevers of 103 and rising still and extremely high blood pressure with a high and rapid heart rate. Before the Emergency Room, while still at home, my blood pressure and heart rate were dangerously high and alarming. On a hot and humid summer day, I was freezing! Despite multiple layers of shirts, sweaters, pants and jackets with a huge pile of blankets covering me, I was still freezing cold and with a strange inability to get and feel warm.
