EASTER SEALS, A MEETING WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 11-16-16

For many years, Easter Seals has been devoted to helping, training and giving services to children and adults with disabilities.
Today I, and other clients and staff of Easter Seals, met with Paul Medeiros (President and CEO of Easter Seals) and members of the Board of Directors at Easter Seals.
This was a fun and informative meeting in which I learned from the people at this meeting and about new technology.
Some years ago, Easter Seals me a computer leased me and gave me the necessary training in computer skills.
Tara Espiruitu, a technology specialist from the Adaptive Technology Department at Easter Seals, gave me a firm foundation in computer. Skills.
Tara is still available to me to fix, answer and help with anything to do with the computer.
These computer skills, with the knowledge and reasoning of how to use it, has opened up many doors for me.
I am able to touch base with family and friends that I don’t see a lot, through email and Facebook and Twitter, as well as make new friends and acquaintances through other forms of social media.
I am also able to continue writing my blog, my internet journal.
My blog: “Me, As I Go through This Zany, Marvelous, and Difficult Experience Called: “”Life” tell not only how Life affects but, also, how my faith in God has given me the strength and courage to carry on with a positive attitude.
I would like to thank Easter Seals for given me a better life through the computer, which has become a lifeline to the outside world.
Lastly I would like to thank a man named Anan, for helping me, when The Ride, my transportation, came over 3 and ½ late. This young man stayed with me, talked with me and even offered to send me home in a cab, at his expense. Tired, not breathing adequately and totally exhausted, the kindness of Anan became crucial in getting me through until The Ride eventually did come.
Love, hope and peace,
A graciously grateful,
